Interesting this one. I had one of these many years ago in mint condition with a 1918 dated paper label. Just like this single pleat, wartime style inspector's mark ie No, W D, Letter, unlined collar, unlined pocket flaps, and same olive greenish lining. Curious. Anybody else seen/had one?

Must be late/post-war but an interesting pattern.

Yes I had one Paul, when I used to go to Stockport arms fair in the nineties with my friend Mick I brought a tunic with a single pleat, unlined collar, unlined button flaps, unlined inside the button holes, traces of a circular red label with just the last number 18 with very dark white lining. I was told at the time it was not WW1 due to the pleat but I showed it to a dealer from Cheadle Hulme at Pudsey fair and he said it was late war. It cost me at the time £65 but bcause I wanted a double pleated one I sold it a couple of months later to buy the RGA tunic named to Dewer from you. JG
