Hi All

Hopefully some one can help with a few questions I have about his service.

The following is one posting in his papers,

Posted to CAMC depot from Attachment Hampstead Mil Hospital. 20.6.17

Attached Hampstead Mil Hospital. 20.6.17

“On Command” to Hampstead Mil Hospital, 20.6.17

I have used the quotation marks above as they are in his papers. There are other postings with the same "On Command" listed. At other times they state TOS (Taken on Strength) or SOS (Struck of Strength) & as these are Canadian papers I have not come across it before. What is the meaning of "On Command" ??

There is a posting to "temp duty on Med Board" at what looks like "Shorncliffe", this is in the UK some where ? Can anyone confirm that this is correct name please?

He served with "No 4CCS & No 4 & 13 Field Ambulance" whilst in France, but does not state if these are Canadian or British, can anyone help??

He was posted to CAMC R & T depot at one time, what was the R & T depot ?

Thanks

Peter
