These are 10th Bn DWR patches removed frm the SD tunics of Lt SR Wilson 10th Bn. He served with the 10th in Italy at Piave River. PATCHES were worn on the back below the collar.

D O W 2nd Battn red square 1 1/2 " sides in cotton

I think the flash on photo looks to big for the 2nd battn. Possably 9th or 2/5th

10th battn red diamond 3 " x 2 " as Mark says. JG

Did you manage to find 1/7th ?

Were these all sewn to the tunic sleeve just below the shoulder or were some worn on strap (as 1/6th above), or on the back ?

Ron

Hi Ron, I missed that one,,,,,,

1st / 7th Battn. DOW blue rectangle 2 1/2" x 3/4" in felt.

All worn on the sleeves apart from 1st / 6th.

I have also found different flashes

1st / 4th red disc 1 1/4" diam

1st / 7th blue disc 1 1/4 diam

1st / 6th black disc 1 1/4" diam

I do not know when these changed
