mark holden Posted 10 May , 2010 Share Posted 10 May , 2010 These are 10th Bn DWR patches removed frm the SD tunics of Lt SR Wilson 10th Bn. He served with the 10th in Italy at Piave River. JG Did you manage to find 1/7th ? Were these all sewn to the tunic sleeve just below the shoulder or were some worn on strap (as 1/6th above), or on the back ? john gregory Posted 14 May , 2010 Share Posted 14 May , 2010 Hi Ron, I missed that one,,,,,, 1st / 7th Battn. DOW blue rectangle 2 1/2" x 3/4" in felt. All worn on the sleeves apart from 1st / 6th. I have also found different flashes 1st / 4th red disc 1 1/4" diam 1st / 7th blue disc 1 1/4 diam 1st / 6th black disc 1 1/4" diam I do not know when these changed 8th Battn. three black bars on red rectangle.
