greymatter Posted 8 May , 2010 Share Posted 8 May , 2010 Hello Pals I wonder if anyone can help. I have got the Battalion diaries for the 12Bn Royal Scots Fusiliers for later 1917 and early 1918 when they were in Palestine. There are grid references mentioned, but I don't know where I can get hold of the maps to which they refer. I know about the mapping system for the western front but have never heard of one relating to this area. Any help would be appreciated. Philip Wilson Posted 8 May , 2010 Share Posted 8 May , 2010 Gramps We have a quantity of original maps for Palestine late 1917 early 1918 in the Warwickshire Yeomanry Museum, Warwick. If you want to pm me some grid references we will see what we can turn up. Alternatively you could try: The National Archives, The Imperial War Museum or the National Army Museum - they are likely to have maps.
