Perth Digger Posted 2 May , 2010 Share Posted 2 May , 2010 There is a card in the MICs relating to the award of an MC in April 1918 to a Lt Charles Arthur Campbell MURDOCK, Rifle Brigade. I am wondering if this in fact should have been MURDOCH, in which case this man was the brother of a Scots Guards 2/Lt DOW in 1916 and of a Commander RN who survived the war. I cannot find a normal MIC for either spelling. Any help gratefully received. Thanks Mike
archangel9 Posted 2 May , 2010 Share Posted 2 May , 2010 Mike, I would say yes it should be MURDOCH. A close look at the "k" on the card, in my opinion, reveals that it is actually an "h". John
