sotonmate Posted 2 May , 2010 Share Posted 2 May , 2010 PS No indication on SDGW or CWGC. No apparent service record survives. Sotonmate
petestarling Posted 2 May , 2010 Author Share Posted 2 May , 2010 Sotonmate Thanks. I have tried all the usual sources and no reply from the RF Museum so hoped that perhaps someone may have researched the battalion. Pete

Pete Starling Hi There's a short but quite detailed account of the 11/RF's doings in the attack at Boom Ravine in Trevor Pidgeon's "Boom Ravine" in the Battleground Europe series. C & B Companies seemed to have suffered most Regards Martin
petestarling Posted 3 May , 2010 Author Share Posted 3 May , 2010 Martin Thanks for that. I have a copy of the book and used it when I walked the Ravine the first time. I intend to go back at the end of June and hoped that if I had his company I could be more precise. Regards, Pete
