edwin astill Posted 25 April , 2010 Share Posted 25 April , 2010 The War Diary contains a detailed account of the action on 16th June, as you say, at Bellewaarde. The battalion had 3 officers killed and 11 wounded. 30 rank and file killed, 255 wounded, 24 missing. On the 17th they were in bivouac at Busseboom, moving to another bivouac the next day. They then went into trenches near Hooge for the rest of the period of your interest. The Diary of Alexander Johnston (Pen & Sword) also gives detailed coverage of the battalion's action.
