LarsA Posted 20 April , 2010 Share Posted 20 April , 2010 I'm researching Lieut William Karl Towell, who started as a privat in the 13th Londons (Kensington Rifles) but was commissioned into the Royal Welsh Fusiliers in april 1915. He served in France with the 19th battalion, but was sent homw with a GSW RIght Shoulder in november 1916. As he "left unit" in October, this was probably when he was wounded. Any confirmation of wound or other mention of Lieut Towell would be most appreciated! ATB, Lars

LarsA Posted 20 April , 2010 Author Share Posted 20 April , 2010 Thanks Hywyn, as you suspect I have the Regimental Records in the shelf, and there is indeed little on the 19th for their first period in france june 1916 to january 1917.
