chrskovgaard Posted 19 April , 2010 Share Posted 19 April , 2010 I'm trying find DVR N.Evans' (214968) RFA unit I've searched the National Archives for a Service Record, without any luck. I've read on their site that I should be able to determine it from the MIC, but I can if any abbrevations that match the unit abb. given on the site. MIC has what seems to be the India General Service Medal w. Afghanistan 1919 clasp on it. which would suggest he served in the third afghan war. But I haven't been able to identify the RFA units participating in the conflict. Any help would be much appreciated Best Christian Great grandson of Norman Evans
