ROSS T CWGC 25/1260 dow 8-7-16; SDGW ROSS G 25/1250 dow 8-7-16. also ROSS G 22/1260 CWGC dow 2-2-16; SDGW ROSS G dow 2-2-16 age 32 born Kelso. The medal cards are both noted "not related to 22/1260 Ross and not related 25/1260 Ross "respectively. The initial T appears only on the CWGC site and the number is out by 10 on the SDGW. All very confusing. Ralph.

25/1250 was Pte John Ridley of 16 Military Road, South Shields. 25/1260 was Pte George Ross again of South Shields as stated by John, but for some reason I have his death as DOW(died of wounds) 3/7/1916. 22/1260 Pte George Ross lived 4 Clyde Street, Sunderland.
