I had a very helpful reply from Dick Flory wirh the the detials of this mans service but staggeringly he does not have the volume of the Winchester College roll which carries his photo

Would some kind soul who has a copy could be kind enough to post it here of pop me an email, I would be grareful beyond words

He is in Volume 2 of Wykehamists Who Died in the War 1914-1918, I have all 4 volumes, however my scanner is not playing ball at the moment so if a digital photograph of him and his bio are acceptabel I will e-mail this off to you asap.

All sent, if you need better quality let me know and I will get it scanned for you at work. Interesting that he was in Canada and returned home with his sister on the Lusitania's last voyage, both survived with Osmund being one of the last of the ship. Gazetted on June 11th to the 9th Oxs & Bucks then transferred to the MGC in September 1916.
