My grandfather enlisted in May 1916 was severely wounded at Ypres. I don't know his battalion or company so i can't find out which battles he was in or the circumstances of him being wounded. Can anyone help me?

This could be his service records on Ancestry. You really need to know when he was wounded, bear in mind Ypres was an area of operations for almost the full War and although there were 5 I believe battles of Ypres, these were major operations and at other times Men died or were wounded in that area every day.
