sotonmate Posted 12 April , 2010 Share Posted 12 April , 2010 Doc No service record popped up for me,but that doesn't mean there isn't one,as I often miss them! No entry in de Ruvigny either. His CWGC entry also seems to be not so straight forward as he looks to have been brought into and re-buried at Arras Road Cemetery Roclincourt after the Armistice. Block III seems to have such burials. See the Cemetery notes on CWGC. I note from SDGW that there was a series of KIA casualties from the 1 Devons around this time. There were 5 others on the day of his death,5 on the 21st,12 on the 23rd and 15 on the 24th,and (not so many) others on either side of these dates.
