SKBob Posted 11 April , 2010 Share Posted 11 April , 2010 Can someone clarify for me if records of individuals who passed through Roehampton Hospital (to have artificial limbs fitted), are available anywhere to search ? I did fire off a few e mails to the obvious suspects (NA etc) but got some rather muddy responses. I imagine that the 100 year rule still applies ? My grandfather passed through Roehampton having been wounded and losing a leg in early / mid 1918 and had to return periodically throughout 1919/1920. I would like to see what can be found. Thanks Bob
Sue Light Posted 12 April , 2010 Share Posted 12 April , 2010 The Hospital Records Database shows that all surviving records for Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton Lane, are at the London Metropolitan Archives, but that no patient or clinical records are included. Not good that TNA couldn't answer the question for you. Queen Mary's Hospital archives Sue
