JH may be your man for this one

In the mean time, this from Westlake's 'British Regiments at Gallipoli' ISBN 0 85052 511 X

Third Battle of Krithia (4th June 1915) First objective taken with little opposition. Second reached but could not be held owing to enfilade fire. Brigade War Diary records (5th June) that communication trench to front line was completely blocked by Benbow and Nelson Battalions, Royal Naval Division. Evacuation of wounded and bringing forward of supplies and ammunition imposible for two hours. First objective consolidated. Enemy counter attack beated off (6th June)

Still holding 1st Objective line. Turks in our trench on right and left flanks. Impossible to clear them out owing to lack of bombs. Trenches badly enfiladed.

Casualties 2/Lt T B Walker killed, Lts E J Burrows, M K Burrows & F C Gordon wounded. O.R.s 4 killed, 21 wounded.

(I cannot swear to the spelling of the officers' names – michaeldr)
