sionyn Posted 7 April , 2010 Share Posted 7 April , 2010 Hi, Please forgive my ignorance, but I keep coming across this term on soldiers records: "M.L.L." rfts (with the letters M.L.L. actually being enclosed by inverted commas) and I've also seen it written elsewhere as "Serbian MLL reinforcements" It usually occurs as the first line on a soldiers casualty record (on Army form B. 103) e.g.: Embarked S'thampton 10/9/16. Disembarked Salonika 31/9/16. H.S. "Essequibo" with "M.L.L." Rfts. [see image below] I've searched online and through the various GWF pages and have been unable to find an answer - what does "M.L.L." stand for and why is it in inverted commas?
