johnnie Posted 6 April , 2010 Share Posted 6 April , 2010 I was wondering if anybody might be able to help me. Do any members have copies of the 2nd Btn West Riding Regiment covering August to the end of October/start of November 1914 as I would like to find out more about their movements/actions during this time. I was also wondering if anybody could suggest any other books worth looking at that cover this period. Any help would be great, Jonathan
Steven Broomfield Posted 6 April , 2010 Share Posted 6 April , 2010 I have a copy of the regimental history at home: it's pretty thorough. If no-one gets in first, I'll have a look this evening (as long as it doesn't interfere with CSI, of course).
snailybailey Posted 6 April , 2010 Share Posted 6 April , 2010 Hi Jonathan, I have a copy of 'Craven's Part in the Great War' which has many pictures and write-ups on men from the West Riding Regiment in it. Are you researching anyone in particular? Glyn
