chrissparrow Posted 5 April , 2010 Share Posted 5 April , 2010 Chaps This is so useful as an educational graph! So often when I am guiding kids around the battlefields they ask 'so, how does the Somme compare to 3rd Ypres' and such questions. I will just hand out this graph now! Thanks, Chris
Chris_Baker Posted 5 April , 2010 Share Posted 5 April , 2010 Beware, though. The graph is deaths only and does not represent the total loss of manpower (ie wounded and POWs).
ss002d6252 Posted 5 April , 2010 Author Share Posted 5 April , 2010 Thanks , the chart reflects the figures I have been compiling for my local area for ww1 deaths. At least it shows my figures are reflective of the overall spread of deaths. Is there anyone who has the actual month by month raw data death figures (its hard to read the actual figure from the chart )until geoffs search engine is running again.
