Guest woodyudet Posted 4 March , 2003 Share Posted 4 March , 2003 Does anyone know where I can obtain biographical information regarding Bridadier General WHM Lowe. He was OC Dublin during most of the easter rising [being 2iC Irish Command prior to rising - the OC Ireland being absent]. He was responsible for most of the operational planning. I've had real difficulty finding anything about him - he doesn't seem to have had any private papers or written an autobiography etc.

charlesmessenger Posted 5 March , 2003 Share Posted 5 March , 2003 He retired as an honorary Major General before the end of 1919, which implies that he held this acting rank during the latter part of the war. Charles M
