Remembered Today:

Fray Bentos Tank

Recommended Posts

I am trying to locate the trench map reference for Fray Bentos when it became disabled in August 1917 and continued firing for 72 hours. I know it is close to Hill 35, but does anyone have the exact trench co-ordinates?

Many thanks

Not sure if you have seen this site:

http://www.tankmemorial.vpweb.co.uk

as it has a piece about F41 some way down the page, with a suggestion that it's position at the time can be revealed .......at Gallipoli Farm.
