Thankyou for your help.

I got a couple of phone calls last night one from Military Historian Christopher Brooke Fulke Greville a relative to these men,he had certain information as to much of the Greville family and advises me to stay on this forum as its members are a wealth of Military information.

It was indicated that the Grevilles named had strong associations to The Cavalry Club at 16 Charles St,Mayfair,London which may have moved opposite St James Park,London. Both these properties are owned by the Greville family, handed down from a relative William McEwan of McEwan Distillery Company.

Christopher also indicated that many of these Military Grevilles worked at the War Office during WW1 and even one of the female Grevilles was the lady in charge of the British spies, interesting to find out.

Is it usual for a Col In Chief to be given the Regimental Silver,Drum etc.
