Bingo794 Posted 1 April , 2010 Share Posted 1 April , 2010 Forum Any Bedfordshire buffs out there? I am trying to find out about this man, a 1914-15 Star has been brought to me with the details of a No.8124 Pte. (what looks like) S.E. Seaman Bedf. R. Am I missing something or does he not exsist, I cannot even find his MIC. Any details on this chap would be most welcome. Your thoughts on this one, please. Cheers, Dick
River97 Posted 1 April , 2010 Share Posted 1 April , 2010 Dick, I had a look and could find nothing as well. Could you post a photo of the naming on the reverse of the medal. Cheers Andy.

Bingo794 Posted 1 April , 2010 Author Share Posted 1 April , 2010 Chaps, Will have a go at the photography bit later. The lettering looks to me quite small and finer than the other medals I have. It is similar to one medal I have which on the MIC is listed as a 1940 re-issue, after the original(s) was/were lost. I forgot to mention that the 15 Star came with a WW2 issue box with enveloped 1939-45 Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal, & War Medal with the issue list. All addressed to Mr.F.G. Seaman 41 Tomlinson Avenue, Scunthorpe, Lincs. I have now seen that the initials are F.G. Seaman on the 1915 Star, found my magnifying glass.........at last!!!!
