I've come up against a brick wall so hope members will be able to help!! My grandad's cousin, 152093 Bdr H Thwaite served in 141 Bty from 3 Sep 1917 through until 1919. I am struggling to find info on this gunner Bty so any assistance would be much appreciated!

Regards,

Martin

Martin,

A very poor diary survives at NA ref WO95/325, and in my opinion is not worth even getting, covering Sep to Oct 1917, some 18 pages.

A much better avenue of research, is to go to the IWM where they hold a 64 page photocopy by Lt L F Attwater “Record of the 141st Heavy Battery Royal Garrison Artillery” with two plates (ref: K.06/389) for this Horse drawn battery that served on the Western Front.
