o j kirby Posted 26 March , 2010 Share Posted 26 March , 2010 Hello, I am wondering if any member might have access to information regarding the number of TF War medals that were awarded to the 4th, 5th, and 6th Seaforth Highlanders, TF. Are there any lists naming the individuals? Thanks, Owain.
Staffsyeoman Posted 26 March , 2010 Share Posted 26 March , 2010 Howard Williamson's "Collectors and Researchers Guide to the Great War" has a table listing the numbers of awards. I have issue with some of the numbers quoted in it, but it's a good start. I have it, but won't be near it until Tuesday - someone else on forum might be able to intervene. It won't break down by Battalion; it will just give a total for the regiment. To break it down you'd have to go to Kew and go through the ledger.
