I found this photo in a box of one of our relatives. I have no idea if it's even WWI but I'm wondering if anyone might be able to shed any light.

hi

the collar badges look as if they are prince of wales plumes and the facings of the tunic are a dark colour, West Yokshire Regiment?

Prince of Wale's collar badges too big for West Yorks and faintly seen at the bottom of his cuff is I believe an Austrian knot. I don't think he's a Volunteer either and his smart appearance could possibly indicate regular cavalry

Therefore either 3rd Dragoon Guards or 10th Hussars, also maybe 12th Lancers before they changed their badges.
