eyman Posted 25 March , 2010 Share Posted 25 March , 2010 I would be grateful for help in identifying the unit in which these officers were serving. I can make out a T on some collars, but not others, so some of them were Territorials. The badge on one of those in the front row looks very much like RAMC to me but I'd be grateful for confirmation. Thanks in advance Ian

MBrockway Posted 25 March , 2010 Share Posted 25 March , 2010 I think you were standing too far away when you took the photo Cheers, Mark
eyman Posted 29 March , 2010 Author Share Posted 29 March , 2010 Here is a close up of one of the collar badges. Does it help anyone to confirm that it is RAMC? Ian
Owen D Posted 29 March , 2010 Share Posted 29 March , 2010 Does it help anyone to confirm that it is RAMC? Yes it is RAMC Modern version here. Can't find WW1 one. http://www.survivalaids.com/grouppics_sa/2357.jpg
Steven Broomfield Posted 30 March , 2010 Share Posted 30 March , 2010 Is that a Territorial "T" underneath the badge?
MartinThwaite Posted 30 March , 2010 Share Posted 30 March , 2010 Is that a Territorial "T" underneath the badge? I think the T signified War Service Commission ie Temp. Martin
Steven Broomfield Posted 30 March , 2010 Share Posted 30 March , 2010 No it didn't. T = Territorial. My question was whether it was, indeed, a T. I think it is.
