I am researching L/Cpl William Green KIA 14/9/16. I have his MIC but would like to know where the 12th Bn Lancashire Fusiliers were and what actions they took part in, in the week prior to his death.

He was in Salonika with 65 Brigade of 22 Division. No specific action seems to have taken place on the date he was killed so you may have to get the pages from the War Diary to see what they were engaged in. WO95/4852.
