marc leroux Posted 18 May , 2004 Share Posted 18 May , 2004 I am trying to trace Private Robert Holmes Leslie, a 43 year old youngster serving with the 1st Battalion Labour Corps who died 1 Sept 1917, buried in Belgium Does anyone have any idea what the double secret pass code (i.e unit number) to use in searching the war diaries? There is a tremendous amount of information available, but it isn't always intuitive on how to find it.
