Anyone help me with any details of the above soldier.

I have him down as belonging to Liverpool Regiment number 65736 and then Labour Corps 44137. His medal card states LC/101B/27 page 2745.

Any information would be gratefully received.

You're in luck - his service papers have survived, although they've transposed the numbers and regiment:-

Name: James Henry Noble

Estimated birth year: abt 1887

Age at Enlistment: 28

Residence: 18 Back New Street Lee Note, Droylesdon

Document Year: 1915

Regimental Number: 65736

Regiment Name: Labour Corps

Quite substantial - 32 pages. Are you on Ancestry?
