Steven Broomfield Posted 14 March , 2010 Share Posted 14 March , 2010 Can't show you, but pretty simple: British officers wore the Kara (iron bracelet; one of the 5 K's of Sikhism), with the Roman numerals XXXV across the middle, and the word "Sikhs" on the bottom of the corclet. A crown on the top. Indian ranks forwent the word "Sikhs" and the crown. This was a common stabdard for Sikh regiments, the circlet being easy to show as a badge. No dea on collar dogs, I'm afraid.
