A Soldier of the South Lancs

Hi all

No mystery to this man, it's just a photo I have received of my Great Great Uncle, Robert Tetlow. He served with 6/South Lancashire Regiment in Mesopotamia. He survived and came home, his brother was killed in Flanders. it's a nice photo and says on the back "To mother with love"

I'm proud of what he did and just wanted people to see it.

Jonathan.

Yes it really is a good photo, his mother would be so proud,

how old do you think your Great, Great Uncle would of been here?

Regards, Bob

Excellent photo - my great uncle George Tarmey was posted from 8th to 6th South Lancs in 1917, he joined up in Garstang Lancs in Sep 1914 and returned home in May 1919. Bless 'em - never forgotten.

Regards,

Martin
