I

Hard to say as the Medal Rolls don't even say which unit they landed with, or for.

Several Divisions landed in France in Sept 1915,21/22/and 24 seem to have arrived before the date on your man's MIC. 25 Division would fit as it completed it's move between 25 and 30 September 1915 and 26 Division also ,it's dates were a bit looser,September was the month it started the move and completed it by the end of the month. That might narrow down the RFA unit he served in,but of course,if he didn't move with his Division and was merely a replacement then it could have been for any unit already shipped out from 1914 forward !

You can always hope that someone here can tell by his number !
