She has joined the Military Brooch Collectors Club and has bought the 3 volumes of Pamela M. Caunt's books 'Military Sweetheart Jewellery'. These books are only about 50 pages long but are very good. Jim Gordon Posted 3 March , 2003 Share Posted 3 March , 2003 Lesley While rummaging through some of my granfather's possessions I came across a brooch of the Star of David in red and green enamel with a silver miniature badge of the Gordon Highlanders at the centre. I found out (with some difficulty) that this is a Sweetheart Badge given by members of the Freemasons to their loved ones.
