Luton Roll

I have a copy of the Luton Roll. It lists name, rank, number, unit, home address & either married or single.

There are 1284 men listed who did not return home.

Look ups welcome.

John.

Hi ya John

Luton Roll? Unsure what it is, but forgive me for asking the usual question :D :

Herbert Charles Kendall?

4400 in 5th Beds

then 200570 in 7th Beds

KIA 23/03/1918 in 7th.

Also, anything relating to pre war TF (F company Im thinking, Drill Hall in LB and HQ in Luton as I understand it?).

As a side note, Im planning to go to Luton, Leighton, Northampton (probably) and Bedford in the next 3-6 weeks. Anything specific I can help with while Im roaming?

Steve
