Mark Abbott Posted 25 February , 2010 Share Posted 25 February , 2010 I am researching this individual who served with the RM Brigarde at Dunkirk and Antwerp. His papers state that he was a pow in Holland for the duration of the war. Is there any information anywhere as to which camp he was held in? Any help would be welcome. michaeldr Posted 25 February , 2010 Share Posted 25 February , 2010 If he was interned in Holland after Antwerp, then it was almost certainly at Groningen See this web site http://www.wereldoorlog1418.nl/englishcamp/index.html Sergt Leeson served with the Deal Detachment RMLI and interestingly, Fevyer & Wilson do not show this man as either a PoW or an Internee Good luck Michael
Mark Abbott Posted 25 February , 2010 Author Share Posted 25 February , 2010 Michael, Thank you for the link. I downloaded his papers yesterday and at first, failed to see that they were continued on another individuals record (thanks to members of the BMF for pointing that out to me) and I wonder if Fevyer & Wilson had the same problem?
