Simon Birch Posted 24 February , 2010 Share Posted 24 February , 2010 I know he should be on CWGC but for the life of me I cannot find him. KIFA 8th July 1918 in France and he was Canadian. I have his casulaty return and the AIR 76 file but cannot see him on the CWGc database. Have searched on Standing, Standring, Standsin and Stand. Am I missing something? Thanks & Regards, Simon

Dolphin Posted 24 February , 2010 Share Posted 24 February , 2010 Simon 2Lt W M Standring of No 65 Sqn RAF was killed in an accident while flying Sopwith Camel D1836 on 8 July 1918. The aeroplane's wings collapsed while pulling out of a steep dive. I hope that this helps you. Gareth
