Braindead Posted 23 February , 2010 Share Posted 23 February , 2010 I was staying with a relative last week and they had on display their father-in-law's medals. I'm curious, not being a collector, as to value. There was a 1914-15 Star, War Medal, Victory Medal, Belgium Royal Household Service Medal (my relative doesn't know what tht was awarded for, can anyone give any pointers as to how we could find out?). The person concerned also served in WW2 and received the 39-45 Star, War medal and Defence medal. He was also awarded the Kings Police Medal for Gallantry, General Service Medal (Palestine), Colonial Police Medal and Coronation Medal 1937. In my brief forays into looking at medals, I get the impression that the combination of all these medals would add to the value. I know that many ofthe medals aren't within the scope of this forum, but I'm still curious. Hope you can help.
HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 23 February , 2010 Share Posted 23 February , 2010 A Lot of Money!!! The KPM{G} would be rare & value would depend on Citation, easily 4 figures just debatable which number would be at the front!!
