Remembered Today:

East Yorkshire cap badge

Just bought an East Yorkshire cap badge. Bi-metal - rose in the centre of star with scroll at bottom. It is well worn and the slider has been removed and a pin fixed on the back to make it into a brooch. Could this be GW period do you think? (Cost me £1.50).

Regards.

Who knows! A photo would help but could be WW2. I like the brooching however and for £1.50...well who cares, either way sounds nice.

Thanks TT - good of you. I haven't mastered the picture bit yet!

All the best.

Sounds to have been brooched for a lady friend or relation, commonly done in the Great War. So, yes.
