Guest Hill 60 Posted 14 May , 2004 Share Posted 14 May , 2004 Hi - Have you tried the Commonwealth War Graves Commission? They will, for a fee, be able to list the dead from a particular ship for you.
Jonathan Saunders Posted 17 May , 2004 Share Posted 17 May , 2004 If the ship was lost then full casualty lists should be in the appropriate file at the PRO/NA at Kew. In theory the casualty files should exist for every ship lost. If you are just interested in who died from accidents, natural causes etc., whilst on board a particular ship, you could try the Ship's Log, again if it exists at the PRO/NA. Otherwise Lee's advice is your best option. I think the cost was £25 last I heard.
