GWRCo Posted 13 February , 2010 Share Posted 13 February , 2010 Hi all, ...does anyone know someone or somewhere that can do cap repairs please? Reason i ask, is that i have two caps which need the peaks replaced! tim
trenchtrotter Posted 13 February , 2010 Share Posted 13 February , 2010 I assume they are British. The reason I ask is that I had a superb German Officers medical cap and the original peak was cery loose and detatched at one end. The dealer I bought it from knew a man in Germany that used his late fathers (who was a miliner? (cap /head dress maker)) equipment to do an absolutely flawless repair and the peak is now firmly attatched with no signs of ever being repaired. The dealer was an absolute gent ( as was the repairer). The dealer part funded the postage to Germany as he was sending stuff and the repairer made some very kind comments on the cao. PM me if this is what you need and I will give you the contact. TT
