Fred W Posted 11 May , 2004 Share Posted 11 May , 2004 The picture shows the memorial to the 105 Boy Scouts of Nelson who died in the First World War. It was first erected in Victoria Park in 1919 and at the time was said to be the first of its kind in the country. I t was moved to its present position in 1998. Does any one know of any similar memorials in the country?
