For some reason I can't access the CWGC website and as I don't have SDGW, please could someone look up the name on a plaque I bought at a car boot this morning.

Name is GEORGE HENRY STEEL.

Knowing my luck there will be about 12 of them!

Many thanks - Ian

Ian,

the MGC(I) one is the only one in SDGW. B. Mile End, E. Liford, KIA 4 Nov 18. Suspect Liford = Ilford.

Can't find the KOYLI one in SDGW

Many thanks - it being George Henry STEEL & not STEELE, it is probably the Machine Gun Corps soldier :D

Worth getting up at 4-30am for <_<
