Nigel Marshall Posted 3 January , 2010 Share Posted 3 January , 2010 If any Pal has this war diary I'd be very grateful to learn what the battalion was doing at this time. I'm especially interested in 13 April 1915. I'm looking into a soldier killed on the 13 April. He was one of two men from the battalion killed that day, so I'm leaning towards artillery interrupting normal trench routine or a patrol being the reason. Any help would be great. GrahamC Posted 6 January , 2010 Share Posted 6 January , 2010 Hi Nigel Can't help you specifically - but as you can see from my post a few below yours I am looking for the Diary for Jan - Feb 1915 (in fact the whole of 1915 would be good!). So if you get anywhere before me with your request perhaps you can tack mine on - obviously I'll do the same. I've had a look at Ancestry and the records of neither Joseph Kelly nor John Worrall seem to have survived. All the best and Happy New Year Graham
Nigel Marshall Posted 6 January , 2010 Author Share Posted 6 January , 2010 Certainly Graham. John Worrall is the man I am looking at at the moment. He was a relative of a family friend who has hasked me to have a look to see what I can find. Cheers, Nigel
