Guest Pac7083 Posted 9 May , 2004 Share Posted 9 May , 2004 I am trying to confirm a citation for Acting Corporal Arthur BNiggs No 15820 9th West Yorkshire Regt. I have the confirmation of his MM from London Gazette etc. When I aquired the group a note was with it stating that he won the MM for Gallipoli crawling back and forth with messages as a runner. CROONAERT Posted 9 May , 2004 Share Posted 9 May , 2004 Steve. The MM wasn't instituted untill 25th March 1916, but awards could be "back-dated" to before this time.
