Doug,

I have a note in a soldier's diary for 16 September 1918 "Poperinghe. Battalion moved back into reserve at Erie Farm, Brandhoek, near Poperinghe."

On the 22nd they moved back to Zillebeke.

(On the 11th they were at Zillebeke Lake sending out patrols.)

Nothing else in the diary, sorry.

NB. You appear to have 2 dates : 10th in the heading and 17th in the narrative. I'm presuming its the 17th you want.

Regards,

Graeme

Doug,

In that case from the 6th to the 11th they were at Templeux-la-Fosse.

For the 10th the diary (not War !!) records,

Further patrols were sent out with the same object in view but again without result. Heavy machine gun fire was directed

at one patrol from the spoil bank east of Vermezeele.

The day before, the 9th, patrols of 1 officer and 20 ORs went out attempting to identify the German units.

Regards,

Graeme
