KOYLI, have tried to enlarge the shoulder title with no luck, just wondered if anyone has any pics or illustrations to show me what the shoulder title would look like, thanks in anticipation, John. bigronhartley Posted 12 December , 2009 Share Posted 12 December , 2009 Hello John The shoulder title appears to be a 'slung bugle' above the word Yorkshire (in a slight curve). Hope this helps. Regards Ron
jwp2007 Posted 12 December , 2009 Author Share Posted 12 December , 2009 Many thanks Ron, I think you may be correct, someone told me that brass titles with KOYLI on did not appear untill the 1920's , grandad's war service ended with the 3rd London Regt. I have this cap badge ( the royal fusiliers badge ) but apart from the Koyli dog tags have no surviving koyli insignia, thanks again Ron, much appreciated, kind regards, John.
