MikeW Posted 4 May , 2004 Share Posted 4 May , 2004 I have FSL HA Connop (or just possibly Connor) from Nottingham posted to Dunkerque on 14th March 1918, but he died of his injuries on the 31st March 1918. I am trying to find a "Connor" posted to Naval 6 around the 20th March 1918, so this chap "fits", sort of, but I am unable to find any more details of his death. Doesn't appear in The Sky Their Battlefield, or Sturdivant & Page. Anyone able to throw more light on FSL Connop (or Connor)? Would 017798 be a casualty report? Dolphin Posted 5 May , 2004 Share Posted 5 May , 2004 'Airmen Died' only says that FSL Harold Arno Connop of Dunkirk NAS, formerly of Nottingham, died on 31 March 1918 aged 18. He is buried in Dunkirk. No details of the circumstances of his death are given. I hope this helps.
