Morris Harrison

Hello, i've reccently started to research my family on my mothers side and have proved succesfull.

However there is one relation that seems to have vanished from our family.

His name was Morris Harrison and he fought in ww1 in the Royal Garrison artillery (i think) he was a lance coporal and had a brother (John/Jack Harrison) who also fought in ww1 in the same regiment.

John/Jack Harrison married and had a daughter (Gean Harrison, now Gean Fitton).

Both brothers survived the war however Morris was never heard from or seen by our family again after the war.

Thanks

John

p.s I do have phtographs of both of them in there unifrom, including cap badge which im pretty sure is Garrison Artillery. However yet again i'm having problems with uploading the photograph on here. If anyone would like to see the photo and confirm the regiment please let me know.

There is a Maurice Harrison in the Medal Index Cards but he was with the Royal Field Artillery as a Gunner 1760 and later 956511. He had three campaign medals, one of which 1915 Star as he landed in France on 2.4.1915. He was later discharged 23.8.1918,with a Silver War Badge, due to wounds or sickness. I found no hits for Morris under Artillery.

Just spoken to my grandmother (Maurices neice) and yes you are correct, however she doesn't know what regiment he was in so you must be right. Could i prehaps have your email so i can link you to the picture?

Thanks very much.
