Remembered Today:

A E Bradshaw BWM Medal

All,

I received in the post today the BWM of my relative Pte Albert Edward Bradshaw 20499 2nd Bn Coldstream Guards.

Albert was killed on 30th August 1918 and is buried at St.Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen.

To the GWF forum pal that I purchased it from, thank you, an extremely kind and generous offer, you did not have to offer me first refusal but you did.

To the GWF, by its very existence, for affording me the opportunity to do so, thank you.

My Great War medal count now stands at one and I am very happy at that fact as yesterday it stood at nil.

It means more than words can say. :poppy:

Albert,

You have not all died because you are Not Forgotten :poppy:

I did nothing to earn the medal I now own but please believe that I own it with pride and respect.
