corisande Posted 13 November , 2009 Share Posted 13 November , 2009 I have the information on the actual attack on Tunnel Trench on 20 Nov 1917. It was the diversionary attack, about 8 miles north west of Cambrai, to draw the Germans away from the main British Cambrai attack I am particularly interested in Royal Dublin Fusiliers in it. All the info I have so far gives them taking Tunnel Trench, and the other 16th (Irish) Division Battalion involved that day and the next few days I assume there must have been a German counter attack, as there are 9 deaths in 10th Battalion on 30 Nov 1917 (plus 2 on 29th Nov). However I have not been able to find anything on the web about a counter attack Anyone help me here?
